Project Manager – Customer Care, Sweden
Sumitomo SHI FW is growing and we are now looking for a driven and structured Project Manager to join our Customer Care team in Sweden.
Your role
As a Project Manager, you take over once a service contract has been signed and are responsible for ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.
You will plan, organize and manage service projects related to boilers across Sweden, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.
You will work closely with:
- the Team Leader Customer Care
- site supervisors
and our support functions in Finland and Poland

In this role, you will:
- Plan and organize project execution
- Coordinate site activities and monitor progress
- Lead project meetings (internal and customer)
- Ensure quality, schedule, budget, and safety compliance
Compile and finalize project documentation

You will also support the service sales process and actively identify opportunities for additional sales during project execution. The role does not include direct people management but requires strong coordination and collaboration across teams.
Typical project duration is 4–12 months, and the role includes approximately 40–50 travel days per year within Sweden.
The position is preferably based near Norrköping, but other locations in Sweden can be considered. Presence in the Norrköping office is expected regularly (2-3 days a week) before each new project starts.

Required experience and skills
- Relevant technical education and experience (energy, process industry or similar)
- Experience in project management, preferably in a technical or service environment
- Strong customer focus and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Good communication skills in English
Driving license (B)

Additional experience (considered an advantage)
- Experience from power plants, boiler technology, or maintenance services
- Technical university degree
- Experience from cogeneration, pulp & paper, or similar industries
Commercial understanding (e.g. contracts)
