Solid experience in automotive or embedded software development, with hands-on involvement in ADAS or active-safety functions.
Strong systems engineering fundamentals: requirements decomposition, traceability, interface definition, and the V-model.
Working understanding of functional safety (ISO 26262) and how ASIL ratings flow into design; awareness of SOTIF (ISO 21448) and why it matters for perception-dependent functions.
Understanding of the ADAS sensing-to-actuation chain (sensors, perception, sensor fusion, decision/planning, actuation, HMI) and the limitations and failure modes of camera, radar, and lidar.
Experience with a requirements/architecture management tool such as CarWeaver, SystemWeaver, DOORS, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and to work effectively with suppliers and distributed teams.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to ramp quickly into new domains, tools, and customer environments.
Strong professional presence and credibility in a customer-facing setting.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
