Candidates must possess expertise in automotive test rigs and test environments, applying this knowledge to ensure effective testing and validation processes. Proficiency is required in at least one of the following technical domains, enabling focused application within the role:
Human-Machine Interface (HMI), including displays, infotainment systems, and controls
Body electronics, covering doors, lighting, and comfort systems
Core systems and vehicle networks
Propulsion and vehicle dynamics
Hard skills also encompass experience with ECU integration and system testing, facilitating comprehensive evaluation of automotive electronic control units. An understanding of automotive test methodologies and verification and validation (V&V) processes is essential to support quality assurance and compliance activities.
