Senior Project Leader within SW Release – Consulting Assignment within Automotive/Software Engineering
Introduction
We at WeQuel are now looking for a Senior Project Leader within SW Release in Gothenburg, where you will become an important part of the Release Leader team with a focus on leading and operating the software release process for complete vehicle software baselines. In this role you take ownership of your own release deliveries while also helping shape the future of the Release Leader capability by coaching colleagues, driving improvements, and strengthening the team's way of working.

Your responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate software releases through the complete release process
Drive planning, prioritization, issue resolution and release readiness activities
Collaboration with stakeholders across Engineering to ensure successful deliveries
Act as a senior Release Leader and role model within the team
Coaching and mentoring of other Release Leaders, sharing knowledge and best practices
Drive improvements to ways of working, release governance and cross-functional collaboration
Lead selected improvement and transformation initiatives within the Release Leader community
Contribute to building a strong Release Leader culture
Strengthen the team's overall capability for future challenges
You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your deliveries forward while collaborating with multiple interfaces across the organization.
Requirements:
Extensive experience from large-scale software development and delivery organizations
Proven experience leading complex projects, transformations or organizational change initiatives
Experience within software release management, software integration or software program leadership
MSc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Strong coaching, mentoring and leadership capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Swedish driving licence
Structured, proactive, communicative and collaborative approach, able to influence without formal authority
