Do you enjoy turning data into action? Are you motivated by creating ads, testing new ideas, improving performance, and seeing measurable business results from your work?
At Profoto, performance marketing plays a central role in how we build demand, acquire customers, and grow globally. We're looking for a curious and hands-on Performance Marketer who wants to create campaigns, develop advertising concepts, optimize performance, and continuously improve results.
This role is particularly well suited for someone early in their career who enjoys learning fast, taking ownership, and making things perform better every day.
Profoto is the world's leading light shaping company and a premium brand trusted by photographers, creators, and production professionals across the globe.
Joining Profoto means becoming part of an international company where your work has a direct impact on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and digital performance across multiple markets and customer segments.
You'll work in a collaborative environment with short decision paths, ambitious goals, and plenty of opportunity to take ownership. We value curiosity, initiative, and people who enjoy turning ideas into action.
You'll have the freedom to experiment, test new approaches, learn quickly, and continuously improve performance while helping shape the future of digital growth for a global premium brand.
As Performance Marketing, you'll work hands-on with campaign creation, ad production, testing, optimization, and performance analysis across multiple channels, audiences, and markets.
You'll work primarily in Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, GA4, and related performance marketing tools.
Create, launch, manage, and optimize advertising campaigns across paid channels
Develop ad copy, campaign messaging, creative concepts, and campaign assets for different audiences and customer segments
Create, adapt, and publish ads across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
Test different creative concepts, visual approaches, messaging, hooks, offers, and audience strategies to improve performance
Analyze campaign performance and turn insights into clear actions
Build and improve automated marketing flows and customer journeys
Run structured experiments and continuously improve campaign effectiveness
Collaborate with internal teams across Creators, Studio, and Cinema
Help ensure marketing investments generate measurable business results
Unlike many performance marketing roles that focus primarily on reporting and optimization, this role also involves creating and developing advertising concepts, ad copy, campaign messaging, creative variations, and campaign assets. You'll be actively involved in both the creative and performance side of digital marketing.
A key part of the role is continuously testing new creative concepts, formats, messaging, audiences, and campaign structures to identify what drives the strongest business outcomes.
You will be responsible for continuously improving key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, conversion rate, customer acquisition, and revenue contribution.
You'll also explore how AI can improve campaign creation, audience development, creative production, performance analysis, reporting, and workflow automation.
We care more about your potential, curiosity, and ability to learn than the number of years on your CV.
You may have gained experience through internships, agency work, freelance projects, side projects, student initiatives, ecommerce businesses, or your first professional role.
You will likely thrive in this position if you:
Enjoy working directly in advertising platforms
Enjoy creating ads, developing messaging, and testing creative ideas
Like combining creativity with data and performance
Like testing, learning, and improving performance
Are analytical and data-driven
Take ownership and enjoy getting things done
Can quickly turn insights into action
Are curious about AI and emerging marketing technologies
Like finding smarter ways to improve results
We're not looking for someone who ticks every box. However, experience in some of the following areas will help you succeed in the role:
Approximately 1–3 years of experience within performance marketing, paid media, ecommerce marketing, digital advertising, or similar areas
Experience building, managing, and optimizing campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or similar advertising platforms
Experience creating ads, writing ad copy, developing campaign messaging, and testing creative concepts
Experience analyzing campaign performance and turning data into actionable improvements
Familiarity with A/B testing, audience segmentation, attribution, and conversion optimization
Experience using GA4, Looker Studio, or similar analytics and reporting tools
Experience managing campaign budgets and optimizing performance against business KPIs
Experience from ecommerce, agency environments, internships, student projects, freelance work, or personal ventures is considered valuable
Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar to improve workflows, content creation, analysis, and productivity
You should be fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Examples of platforms and tools used in the role include:
Meta Ads Manager
Google Ads
LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Looker Studio
CRM and marketing automation platforms
Creative testing and optimization frameworks
Dashboarding and reporting tools
AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar
You are curious, self-driven, and not afraid to challenge ideas or ask questions.
You thrive in an environment with high ceilings, open discussions, and plenty of room to take initiative.
You prefer taking action over waiting for perfect conditions. You understand that testing, learning, and occasionally getting things wrong is part of making progress. You would rather try something, learn from it, and improve than play it safe and miss an opportunity.
You're comfortable taking ownership, solving problems, and moving things forward. You enjoy exploring new tools and technologies and are always looking for smarter ways to improve results.
Most importantly, you're eager to learn, grow, and create measurable impact through your work.
We kindly ask you not to include a cover letter. Instead, please focus on providing a clear CV.
Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
Candidates who pass the initial screening will be invited to complete a short set of online assessments covering logical, numerical, and verbal reasoning as one part of the overall recruitment process.
