Position Overview
As a Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring that software systems and processes meet regulatory, quality, and business requirements. You will lead validation projects, support risk management and quality initiatives, and collaborate across functions to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation in a highly regulated medical device environment.
You will be part of the Innovation and Quality team within Group IT, partnering closely with QA teams across Permobil.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and document software validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and resolve validation deviations,
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audits, CAPA, and change control,
- Manage validation projects, including planning timelines, resources, scope, and delivery,
- Perform risk management activities (FMEA, risk analysis, and control) and document outcomes,
- Define validation requirements and test plans for new or updated software,
- Support continuous improvement by optimizing validation processes and improving operational efficiency (including use of AI where applicable),
- Provide technical and operational support for software, tools, and process improvements across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience,
- Extensive experience in software validation within a regulated industry, preferably medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated environments,
- Strong knowledge of software validation principles, quality systems, and applicable regulations and standards,
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical documentation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards,
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, auditors, and regulatory authorities,
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion,
- Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies to enhance validation processes, efficiency, and compliance.
