Customer Logistics Expert – Nordics
Being part of the Bayer Nordics Customer Team contributing to the mission of delivering healthcare to our patients and consumers
At Bayer we're visionaries, driven to solve the world's toughest challenges and striving for a world where 'Health for all, Hunger for none' is no longer a dream, but a real possibility. We're doing it with energy, curiosity and sheer dedication, always learning from unique perspectives of those around us, expanding our thinking, growing our capabilities and redefining 'impossible'. There are so many reasons to join us. If you're hungry to build a varied and meaningful career in a community of brilliant and diverse minds to make a real difference, there's only one choice.
About the Role
As our Customer Logistics Expert for the Nordics, you'll be the driving force behind a smooth, compliant and efficient logistics operation across the cluster. You'll partner closely with our logistics service providers (3PLs), internal teams and the wider Supply Chain community to make sure our products reach patients and consumers reliably and on time.
This role is made for someone with a proactive mindset, an open and curious approach, and a strong sense of ownership – someone who spots issues early, drives them to resolution, and keeps stakeholders informed every step of the way.
What You'll Do
Own inventory accuracy and reconciliation across our systems and 3PL warehouses – from inbounds and returns to frequent stock report monitoring and proactive, compliant issue correction, inventory reconciliation, the monthly sales and stock reconciliation, and the annual stock count.
Manage stock at risk together with Demand Management and Finance to minimize obsoletes and disposals, ensuring full compliance with Internal Control System (ICS), audit and finance requirements.
Be the master data expert for your country cluster – the go-to contact for our Shared Service Centre, safeguarding data quality and driving updates for new product introductions and product changes.
Steer our 3PL partners in daily operations and performance, control and pre-approve 3PL invoices, and drive cost control and cost optimization across the logistics setup. Visit 3PL sites across the Nordics.
Safeguard compliance and audit readiness – perform ICS controls within defined timeframes, keep SOPs up to date, support trade compliance for import/export, and handle sustainability-related reporting and payments.
Drive continuous improvement – identify and lead process, system and cost-optimization initiatives together with internal and external partners.
Take ownership of issues – independently identify, analyze and act on any logistics-related challenge, and provide backup support to the team (including open order monitoring, interface monitoring and IDoc issue resolution) when needed.
Who You Are
You're a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You bring an open mind, a can-do attitude and full ownership – and you genuinely enjoy collaborating across functions, geographies and cultures.
You also bring:
A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Strong experience in Order to Cash, Supply Chain Management and logistics, with a solid understanding of end-to-end logistics flows (Receiving, Inventory Management, Order Processing, Replenishment and Shipping).

The ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional, international and remote teams.

Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
Willingness to travel occasionally to our 3PL facilities within the Nordics.
