This is a global role. You'll be steering how social advertising drives growth across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and Pinterest, managing significant media investment where every krona is measured against the bottom line, and where brand and conversion have to pull in the same direction.
About the role
As Paid Social Manager, you own the direction and performance of Paid Social across markets and platforms. This isn't a role about boosting posts and watching reach. We're looking for someone who architects the ad-tech behind the channel — the feeds, the automation, the tracking — and then steers the algorithms hard toward business outcomes.
In practice, you set the strategy, own budget allocation across markets, and build the technical and creative-automation frameworks that let Paid Social scale. You'll manage the trade-off between brand building and hard performance targets (POAS/CoS), and defend how you've split the budget between the two. You'll think across channels. Paid Social connects to CRM and SEM, and you're accountable for performance against POAS and CoS targets, quarter after quarter, without losing sight of the wider customer journey.
Your main responsibilities include:
Building and governing the ad-tech stack: data flow between social platforms and our cloud environment, server-side API integrations, and accurate attribution
Advanced feed management and Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) at scale, with automation across creative production, campaign management, and bidding
Partnering with CRM on first-party data — suppression, lookalikes, and re-engagement across paid and owned channels
Steering platform algorithms through high-value signals, and directing thumb-stopping creative through testing
Keeping data integrity tight (CAPI, Consent Mode) and staying ahead on new platforms and Alpha/Beta features
Who you are
Lyko moves fast and changes direction often. That's true of the business, and it's especially true of Paid Social, the platforms, the privacy landscape, and the creative formats all shift faster than most channels can keep up with. We need someone who's energised by that, not worn down by it.
You've probably spent years on the performance side of social: feeds, automation, server-side tracking, attribution. And you've developed real opinions about creative along the way. You can argue for a creative direction in front of brand, and defend a bidding strategy in front of analysts. You're used to working across platforms and markets, and you're drawn to roles where the scope is wide and the autonomy real.
In other words you have:
A background in senior Paid Social strategy across Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest — ideally global or multi-market
Experience with account structuring, bidding strategies, and audience segmentation at scale
Hands-on experience with feed management and Dynamic Product Ads (DPA)
Experience with ad-tech and automation
Experience with attribution across GA4, BigQuery, ideally MMM
A clear point of view on creative and the ability to argue for it
Strong commercial instinct in the brand-vs-performance trade-off
The confidence to argue your position with brand people, analysts, and leadership — and the maturity to change your mind when someone makes a better point
A self-led way of working — you don't wait for someone to set your priorities, you make a call and defend it
