About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced System Architect – Senior Expert with deep expertise in Software Deployment, Remote Software Download (OTA), Connectivity, and Vehicle Uptime Services. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of relevant industry experience and be recognized as a subject matter expert in software deployment architecture for connected vehicle platforms.
In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and define end-to-end software deployment solutions, drive technical concepts from requirements through governance approval, and contribute to the development of next-generation connected vehicle technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and define end-to-end software deployment architecture for connected vehicle platforms.
Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to develop scalable OTA (Over-the-Air) software download and deployment solutions.
Lead requirement analysis with stakeholders across Product Development, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket organizations.
Translate business and functional requirements into robust technical concepts and architectural solutions.
Analyze complex technical challenges and provide architecture recommendations in areas with evolving requirements.
Present and obtain approval for architectural concepts through governance and technical review forums.
Develop and maintain architecture documentation, concept definitions, and decision logs.
Ensure alignment between onboard vehicle systems and offboard/backend software deployment ecosystems.
Support continuous improvements in software deployment, connectivity services, and vehicle uptime capabilities.
Work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and global engineering teams.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.
12+ years of experience in automotive software architecture, connected vehicle systems, or a related domain.
Strong expertise in Remote Software Download (OTA) technologies and software deployment architecture.
Extensive knowledge of vehicle connectivity services and software deployment processes.
Experience working with both onboard (vehicle) and offboard (backend/cloud) software deployment systems.
Proven experience in defining architecture for connected vehicle software deployment solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
