About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team working on complex, high-performance machine systems. This is a hands-on, end-to-end development role where you will contribute across the full product lifecycle — from early concept and system design through testing, validation, and final implementation.
The team works in a highly interdisciplinary environment, combining mechanics, electronics, and software to develop robust machine systems. In this role, you will work at the intersection of mechanical design and embedded control, contributing to both new product development and ongoing platform evolution. You will help define system architecture, ensure seamless integration, and participate in hands-on testing and troubleshooting in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain machine and functional system architectures.
Design, integrate, and support embedded control systems and vehicle/machine communication networks.
Perform data collection, telemetry analysis, and physical performance evaluation.
Contribute to functional safety activities, risk assessments, and system compliance.
Drive mechanical development using modern 3D CAD tools.
Support system modeling, controls engineering, and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering disciplines (Software, Electrical, Testing).
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical, mechatronic, or heavy-equipment product engineering.
Ability to independently lead complex technical assignments and drive solutions.
Strong experience across several of the following areas:
Machine/system architecture design
Embedded control systems and standard industrial bus networks (e.g., CAN bus protocols)
Functional safety standards
CAD-based mechanical design
MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation
Data analysis, physical testing, and system validation
Professional fluency in both English and Swedish (the primary working environment).
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset.
Curious, with a deep interest in how complex machinery and electromechanical systems operate.
Highly comfortable working hands-on with practical engineering challenges in a workshop or testing environment.
Proactive, collaborative, and able to adapt smoothly across different product and subsystem areas.
What We Offer:
A dynamic and innovative workplace, driving advancements in cutting-edge robotic technologies
The opportunity to collaborate with talented cross-functional teams on meaningful and impactful projects
Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package
A supportive culture that fosters continuous learning, growth, and professional development
Flexible hybrid working model for an optimal work-life balance
25 days of annual leave to recharge and relax
An annual wellness allowance of 3,500 SEK to support your health and wellbeing
