In Sweden, our teams operate Sweden’s only full-scale indium phosphide wafer fabrication facility, where we design, manufacture, and test some of the world’s fastest optical chips under one roof, supporting AI infrastructure, data centres, and global communications networks worldwide.
The Role:
We are seeking a Lead Verification Engineer to join our Product Verification Group in Järfälla. In this role, you will lead product verification activities throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring our next-generation optoelectronic products meet performance, quality and reliability expectations.
You will be responsible for:

Leading verification activities for new product development projects and acting as the Verification Lead across multidisciplinary teams.

Defining and owning product verification plans, ensuring activities are aligned with project timelines, milestones and product requirements.

Planning and executing verification programmes, including sample builds, measurement requirements and test system specifications.

Analysing characterization data and preparing technical reports to support design optimisation and engineering decision-making.

Identifying and communicating technical risks, limitations and gaps while ensuring successful project delivery.

Producing technical documentation to support knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and long-term capability development.

Collaborating closely with teams across Chip Design, Test Development, Wafer Fabrication, Assembly & Test and Manufacturing Engineering across multiple sites.

Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, tools and verification methodologies to continuously improve verification capabilities.
About You:
You are an experienced engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and leading verification activities within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. You combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to delivering results.
You will also have:

A Master's or PhD degree in Engineering, Physics or a related scientific discipline.

A minimum of five years' experience in optoelectronics, semiconductors, electrical engineering or engineering physics.

Strong knowledge of optoelectronic and semiconductor devices and associated technologies.

Experience with Test & Measurement (T&M), test automation and laboratory environments, including optoelectronic and RF testing.

Expertise in device characterization, semiconductor data acquisition, statistical analysis and design of experiments.

Experience working with test development, laboratory hardware and automation systems.

Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across functions, sites and technical disciplines.

A demonstrated ability to communicate risks, assumptions and results clearly and objectively.

Fluent English language skills; Swedish is considered a strong advantage.
