To help drive this journey, we are now looking for a Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist.
As our Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will take ownership of developing and driving Svea Solar’s global compensation and benefits agenda, building on the strong foundation already established within salary bands, job architecture and compensation processes.
Reporting to the Group CHRO and working closely with the global HR leadership team and local Heads of HR, you will be the subject matter expert for compensation and benefits across our four European markets.
The role covers both global responsibilities and operational ownership of key processes in Sweden, including salary review, pay equity audits and local compensation matters.
Key responsibilities
Own and further develop Svea Solar’s global Compensation & Benefits framework, including policies, governance and operating models.
Lead and continuously improve annual compensation processes, including salary reviews, salary band management, benchmarking and executive compensation reviews.
Drive the continued development and governance of job architecture
Develop and maintain competitive salary structures and salary bands across markets
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR teams on compensation decisions, salary offers, adjustments and reward-related questions.
Own pay transparency initiatives and ensure compliance with evolving regulations, including pay equity requirements.
Lead communication and training initiatives to ensure leaders and employees understand compensation principles, frameworks and processes.
Govern benefits, pensions, insurance, mobility programs and other total reward elements across relevant markets.
Take operational ownership of Swedish compensation processes, including salary review, pay equity analysis and potential development of sales incentive and bonus models.

We’re looking for you who have…
Proven experience as a Compensation & Benefits specialist, ideally with responsibility across multiple countries and markets.
Hands-on experience managing key compensation processes, including salary reviews, executive compensation, executive employment agreements and benefits, bonus programs, and pay equity audits.
Experience developing salary structures, salary bands and job architecture frameworks based on external market benchmarks (e.g., Mercer, Korn Ferry/Hay, WTW or similar).
Experience from a larger, more mature organization, i Alternatively, experience from a consulting background within Compensation & Benefits, supporting organizations with reward strategy, job architecture or pay structures.
Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
Experience working in an international environment where English has been the primary working language, with excellent command of English both verbally and in writing.
Relevant academic background within Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.

High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
A structured and execution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive initiatives forward and deliver results.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to listen, build trust and confidently challenge when needed.
Service-minded approach with a strong focus on supporting leaders and the wider organization.
Comfortable presenting, facilitating discussions and communicating compensation topics to senior stakeholders.
