We are now looking for a Junior Financial Controller who is curious, analytical, and thrives in a dynamic project environment where both structure and hands-on execution are equally important.
As Junior Financial Controller in the Finance team, you will combine operational accounting responsibilities with financial analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring that our financial processes run smoothly while also supporting management with insights and decision-making in a growing and fast-paced environment.
Manage day-to-day accounting, including invoice registration and account coding
Perform account reconciliations (bank, VAT, accounts receivable/payable)
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, costs, cash flow)
Follow up on budget vs. actuals and analyze deviations
Support forecasting and budgeting processes
Build and maintain basic financial models in Excel
Develop and track key performance indicators (e.g. burn rate)
Support management with financial insights and decision-making material
Improve and document financial processes
Contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives
Ensure data quality in financial systems
Participate in the implementation of tools (ERP, BI, invoicing systems)
Has a degree in finance, accounting, or controlling
Has 1-3 years of relevant experience within accounting or finance
Has hands-on experience with accounting and financial systems
Has strong Excel skills and a good understanding of financial statements
Is analytical, structured, and comfortable working with both details and the bigger picture
Is self-driven, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic environment
Has a strong business mindset and is comfortable working across both operational and analytical tasks
Fluency in Swedish and English
