About the role
This role is a unique opportunity to shape the future of financial crime prevention through technology. As a core contributor, you will help define new ways of working for FCP Investigators by building intuitive and efficient workflow tools that help them identify and act on suspicious activity faster. Your work will make investigative tools more effective and impactful, supporting SEB’s efforts to protect society from financial crime. You will also contribute to innovation within the FCP Process Automation team, including our GenAI assistant that transforms how intelligence is captured and used. If you are passionate about future-proof technology, process efficiency, and real-world impact, this role is for you.
As a Java Developer, you will work with specialists across the team, including Workflow Developers and Data Engineers, to build automated processes and integrate them with company systems. The team is distributed between Solna and Warsaw.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build components that connect internal FCP systems with process automation solutions.
- Work with developers and IT architects to shape process implementation designs.
- Guide business stakeholders on technical options, recommended solutions and key limitations.
- Improve team practices by identifying opportunities, proposing changes and strengthening delivery.

Have experience:
- Developing applications in Java.
- Developing front-end applications, preferably using JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML/CSS and modern frameworks.
- or knowledge of Kafka, MongoDB and container environments such as Docker or OpenShift.
- of cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- of prompt engineering and AI software development.
- of scrum or other agile ways of working.
- Familiarity with business process analysis, workflow automation products, low code platforms or a related field is an advantage.
- Experience using LLMs as part of your development workflow, either professionally or through personal projects
- Have excellent command of the English language both written and spoken.
