You will be part of the team IT Platforms, and we are the owners of the global operational infrastructure. Together with the team you will be responsible for all operational aspects of our Virtual machine platforms. You have a passion for virtualization technologies and like to further develop your technical skills. Together with the team you will deliver a highly available & reliable Virtual machine platform where you together with your colleagues, develop and manage our systems.
In the role as System Administrator – Virtualization you will manage the full life cycle of our virtual server infrastructure, manage incidents and problems but also understand and implement changes.
You will be working very closely with the architects & product owners of the virtual platforms at Axis. You will also take part in both delivery projects setting up new platforms / technologies and plan & execute LCM activities along with your colleagues. As you will be in contact with many different stakeholders, and you need to enjoy working together in a team but also understand how business requirements could be translated into technical requirements. As we are growing as a department, you need to be open to changes and constantly look for improvements on the platform.
We would like to see you as an expert within the field of the Virtual machine technologies area. We believe you will love this position if you enjoy changes, taking responsibility and accepting challenges. You will have great opportunity here at Axis if you like to solve complex problems, have the drive to maintain our virtual environment over time as well as taking part in solving new requirements from our organization. We see that you have a couple of years’ experience in a similar role and high knowledge of technology.
