Volvo Financial Services is seeking a Manager IT Sourcing and Vendors for the Global Information Security, Runtime, and Vendor Management team. Within Digital & IT, the Vendor Management Function is responsible for shaping and managing vendor agreements, relationships, and sourcing activities. This includes ensuring that our external partnerships are not only governed efficiently but are also continuously developed in line with VFS business and technology strategy.
The function brings together governance, sourcing, contract management, and vendor management capabilities to establish a resilient, transparent, and value-driven vendor ecosystem across VFS.
To maintain this capability across all Digital & IT domains, we are looking for a proactive and experienced professional to join our team in the following role:

Act as the central point of coordination between the business, D&IT, Volvo Group Procurement, Legal & Compliance, and external suppliers throughout the sourcing and contract lifecycle.

Serve as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders on sourcing, contract, and operational matters.

Drive and execute day-to-day sourcing and contract management activities, including manual and administrative tasks required to move processes forward effectively.

Lead and support end-to-end sourcing processes, including:
o Planning and execution of RFIs and RFPs
o Supporting stakeholders in defining requirements
o Preparing, coordinating, and quality-assuring sourcing documentation -
Play a central role in preparing, coordinating, and supporting contract negotiations with IT vendors, in close collaboration with D&IT stakeholders, Procurement, and Legal.

Manage and follow-up on contract renewals to ensure timely completion and full alignment with internal stakeholders.

Facilitate effective communication and stakeholder alignment across sourcing, contracting, and supplier-related activities, both internally and externally.

Ensure sourcing and contract management activities are carried out in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.

You will report directly to the Director, Information Security, Runtime, and Vendor Management within VFS D&IT. The preferred location is Gothenburg, Sweden, where we are establishing our new Global Hub.
Qualifications likely required to be successful in this role include:
- University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, IT, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in IT Vendor Management, IT Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Management, or a similar role in an IT or digital environment.
- Hands-on and execution-oriented, with the ability to manage operational, administrative, and coordination tasks in a structured and disciplined way.
- Comfortable working in an environment where many activities still require manual follow-up, coordination, and close stakeholder interaction.
- Sufficient professional maturity and confidence to act as a key point of contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Able to support and coordinate contract negotiation processes with suppliers in a professional and well-prepared manner.
- Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Hands-on experience in managing or supporting RFI/RFP processes, ideally in an IT or digital environment.
- A procurement certification is considered an advantage.
