As an Automation Specialist, you will have an operative role overseeing all aspects of automation within our finance organisation. By designing, developing, and implementing automated processes, as well as optimizing existing automation solutions, you will help streamline finance operations and drive efficiency.
This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking individual who is passionate about leveraging automation and AI to create real business impact. The role is part of Viaplay Group’s Global Business Services and reports to the Head of IT Finance.
Responsibilities
Use AI tools as a natural part of developing automation solutions
Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on potential impact
Design and deploy automation solutions using a range of technologies and tools (e.g. AI, RPA, Power Platform, Python, Azure)
Monitor and evaluate automation performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and reliability
Stay up to date with emerging automation and AI trends and technologies, incorporating new advancements into the Group’s roadmap
Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and documentation for automation processes
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
2+ years of hands-on experience working with automation
Experience with automation tools and technologies such as UiPath, Power Platform, Azure, Python, SQL, and AI tools
Strong collaboration and communication skills
A proactive mindset and a demonstrated ability to drive change and innovation
Solid understanding of business processes and operations, with a focus on continuous improvement
