Driving growth through new business development
This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities with data center operators and key stakeholders across the data center ecosystem. You will play a critical role in positioning Siemens as a trusted partner for resilient, scalable, and sustainable power infrastructure. In this strategic key position, you develop new business opportunities in the rapidly growing market in the Nordics for data center segment, where Siemens holds a major position within electrification.
You are curious about new technologies which are required to drive the transformation toward sustainable, efficient energy solutions and with an increasing demand for AI Factories occurring.
You bring a strong commercial mindset, a results-driven approach, and a passion for building something new. Education & Experience
- Holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field, providing a robust theoretical and practical foundation for the role.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in business development or technical sales, specifically within the energy technology sector, with a clear track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities and market growth.
- Experience in identifying, nurturing, and formalizing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the data center segment to expand market reach and solution offerings.
- Comprehensive understanding of the market dynamics in the data center business, energy systems, power electronics, and smart grid technologies. This includes the ability to evaluate technical solution architectures and contribute to defining product specifications.
- A history of successfully analyzing customer requirements and translating them into tangible product and service offerings, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term engagement. Strong in Key Account Management and stakeholder engagement both with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
This position can be placed in one of the Nordic countries – Denmark, Finland, Norway or Sweden. Travel across the Nordics will be required.
