Construction Manager, MEP at atNorth
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled and driven Construction Manager (MEP) to join our Development team in Sollefteå.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering reliable and compliant construction management support, enabling smooth project execution and ensuring a seamless handover to Operations. You will oversee the delivery of critical mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems across large-scale data center projects, working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of mission-critical digital infrastructure across the Nordics.
Key responsibilities:
Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, safety requirements, and atNorth standards.
Oversee MEP construction activities from planning through commissioning and project completion.
Manage and coordinate General Contractors, MEP subcontractors, and site personnel on a daily basis.
Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
Coordinate closely with Design, Security, Operations, Commissioning, and Project Management teams.
Develop, maintain, and track project schedules together with project stakeholders and the project scheduler.
Lead weekly progress meetings and ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
Support procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of owner-furnished equipment (OFCI).
Monitor site progress, contractor performance, and construction productivity.
Ensure commissioning activities are executed in accordance with atNorth commissioning plans and quality standards.
Identify and escalate project risks, technical issues, and deviations to support timely resolution.
Your profile:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management.
Strong experience overseeing MEP systems within complex construction projects.
Experience from data centers, industrial facilities, energy projects, or other critical infrastructure environments is highly beneficial.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Good understanding of construction scheduling, quality management, commissioning, and contractor management.
Structured and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proactive and solution-oriented with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to work on-site daily in Sollefteå.
