As a Marketing Controller at & Other Stories, you will play a key role in steering and optimizing the financial performance of our global brand marketing and media investments. This is a broad role where you work at the intersection of finance and marketing, ensuring strong financial governance while supporting commercial growth and strategic decision-making.
You will work holistically across the brand, with a global perspective, and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders in brand marketing, media, CRM, and e-commerce. In a dynamic and evolving environment, you will contribute to driving change, improving performance, and unlocking new opportunities.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Drive financial control and follow-up of marketing and media budgets, ensuring alignment with forecasts and business targets

Analyze sales, profitability, and performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations

Own and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes within brand marketing

Secure cost tracking, invoice handling, and financial accuracy across marketing-related spend

Act as a key stakeholder in budget allocation decisions, supporting prioritization based on performance and strategy

Work cross-functionally with media, CRM, e-commerce, and brand marketing teams to ensure strong financial steering

Continuously identify opportunities to improve ways of working and efficiency, including leveraging AI and digital tools
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will report to Brand Control and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization, including:

Head of Brand Marketing
-
Media and CRM teams
-
E-commerce and customer insight teams
-
Other controllers and commercial functions
This is a highly collaborative role where success comes from working closely with stakeholders and influencing decisions across the business.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in controlling who is motivated by working in a commercial, fast-moving, and cross-functional environment.
We believe you have:

Experience within controlling (financial/business) or a similar role – this is essential

A strong interest in business performance, financial steering, and commercial impact

Experience from marketing, media, e-commerce, or retail

Solid skills in Excel and the Office suite, with the ability to work confidently with data

Experience with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan) or similar systems is a plus
-
An interest in using AI and digital tools to improve efficiency and workflows

This is not a purely analytical desk role — you thrive in interaction, bringing insights into conversations and driving alignment across teams.

This is a full-time temporary position (1 year) based at our Head Office in Stockholm.
