TOTEME was founded in 2014 by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman. From the atelier in Stockholm, we create collections spanning ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories and jewelry.
TOTEME is looking for a Senior Product Developer to join our team in Stockholm full-time. In this role, you will be responsible for developing products from sketch handover through to shipment sample sign-off for our apparel collection. Working across categories including, but not limited to, leather- and outerwear, you will report to the Head of Product Development RTW and collaborate closely with the Design, Pattern, Technical, Production, and Raw Material teams to ensure seamless product execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with the Design and Product teams to develop each garment from initial concept through to finished product, ensuring alignment with brand vision and commercial objectives.
Act as a trusted technical partner to the Design team, providing hands-on leadership in fittings and reviews to drive best-in-class fit, quality, and product performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, negotiating costs, lead times, and technical solutions to uphold design intent while meeting business targets.
Ensure that developed products are fit for purpose for the customer, the brand, and the business, balancing aesthetic, functionality, quality, and margin.
Identify potential risks and challenges across all stages of development and production, proactively proposing solutions with a focus on quality, pricing, and margin optimisation.
Continuously refine development processes to improve product quality, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Manage timelines by meeting deadlines and clearly communicating key milestones to cross-functional teams.
Accurately maintain all product data in the PLM system throughout the development process.
Deliver products in line with TOTEME’s sustainability standards and values, ensuring relevant product data is consistently updated and accessible for the sustainability team.
Extensive experience in multi category product development, ideally including leather- and outerwear experience.
Proven ability to partner with senior designers, interpreting creative vision, and translating it to clear technical and commercial direction for teams and vendors.
Skilled in managing supplier relationships to deliver against quality, cost and timing requirements.
Experienced with managing the critical path, ensuring collections are delivered on time.
Able to manage a budget with commercial awareness and understanding of product cost, achieving a balance between creativity and commercial implications throughout the process.
Demonstrates expert-level technical product knowledge.
Excellent knowledge of PLM systems, Microsoft Office and Adobe programs.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

This is a full-time position based at our Stockholm Head office, starting as soon as possible.
