About the role
As Product Manager, you will own the product strategy and direction for HCM MM capabilities, with SD Worx HR as a principal asset. You will ensure alignment with customer needs, market developments, and the wider SD Worx payroll and HR ecosystem.
You will drive the evolution of Core HR and employee lifecycle capabilities, delivering measurable value for HR professionals and employees across multiple European markets. The role requires balancing standardisation with local regulatory and market requirements to deliver a scalable and compliant product.
Key responsibilities
Define and own the product strategy for HCM MM capabilities. Translate market needs, customer insights, and competitive developments into clear strategic priorities.
Own key HCM capabilities across the employee lifecycle (e.g. Core HR, organisational management, absence)
Define clear value propositions for customers (HR professionals and employees).
Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that balances innovation, customer value, operational stability, standardisation of the transversal product with local market needs and commercial goals.
Translate strategic intent into clear value drivers and measurable outcomes, aligned with customer value (HR efficiency, compliance, employee experience), and ensure Product Owners and squads deliver measurable impact.
Provide strong cross‑functional leadership, ensuring alignment across Product Owners, Engineering, Design, Architecture, Tribe Leads, and commercial teams on priorities, outcomes, and strategic direction.
Champion excellence in product discovery and experimentation, enabling teams to validate hypotheses, understand customer needs, measure value, and make informed trade‑offs.
Guide prioritisation at portfolio and product levels, balancing customer value, business impact, cost–benefit, risk, and technical sustainability.
Mentor and develop Product Owners, strengthening product craft, leadership behaviours, and an outcome‑driven mindset across all product teams.
Drive standardisation of core HR capabilities while enabling controlled localisation for country-specific regulatory and market needs.
Define and evolve the role of SD Worx HR within the broader payroll, time, and ecosystem landscape, ensuring seamless integrations and a cohesive customer experience across solutions.
What you bring
Strategic thinker with strong capability in business strategy, customer research, market analysis, and financial modelling.
Deep understanding of digital product development, data‑driven optimization, and the use of AI‑enhanced insights in strategic decision‑making.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align executives, engineering, design, and business stakeholders around a shared direction. With the ability to engage both technical teams and commercial stakeholders, including sales and customer-facing roles.
Experience with outcome‑based roadmaps, hypothesis‑driven discovery, and portfolio‑level alignment across multiple Squads or product areas.
High proficiency in analytics, metrics, experimentation, and insights generation to guide product evolution and prioritize effectively.
Ability to translate long‑term strategy into clear value drivers, measurable outcomes, and success criteria for Product Owners and Squads.
Strong understanding of quality, legal, regulatory, and security standards to ensure scalable and sustainable product direction.
Proven capability in coaching and developing Product Owners, fostering a culture of discovery, experimentation, and continuous learning.
Proficiency in AI‑enhanced analysis, insight generation, and decision‑support concepts.
Proven experience working in multi-country product environments, balancing standardisation with localisation.
Strong understanding of platform-based product development, APIs, and ecosystem integrations.
Professional knowledge of English, knowledge of Swedish is nice-to-have.
