We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join us at Telia Cygate.
My name is Greg Szuh and I am responsible for the Managed Network group. Here, we have gathered technical specialists, architects, and service owners within the network domain, and we are the hub of Telia Cygate’s network operations business. Right now, we are looking for an employee within Network/Security who has the willingness and commitment to grow together with us.
You will work as a Network Technician for a central team that operates based on our centrally delivered services within Managed Services.
In your role, you will work operationally with solutions, focusing on regular operations and maintenance, as well as projects such as onboarding and offboarding customers and services. Tasks such as configuration, setup, and troubleshooting of various network solutions (and associated security solutions) are part of everyday work.
You will work both independently and in a team, and act as a central point of contact within the network group toward other departments. When working with customers, the delivery often spans multiple service areas such as security, Cloud, automation, virtualization, and compute/storage. If you would like to pursue certifications in one or more areas over time, that is something we support.
As a person, you are motivated by working close to technology and particularly thrive when challenged with new thoughts and ideas. You involve both customers and colleagues and keep them informed by communicating in a clear and simple way, and you actively seek feedback to improve your work and our delivery.
- You likely have 5 + years of professional experience within network/security.
- You likely hold a Check Point certification at Professional level or have equivalent work experience.
- Very strong knowledge of network and network security products/services in enterprise environments, such as routing, load balancing, firewalls.
- You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
- Worked according to the ITIL framework.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco security products and platforms such as FTD/FMC/ISE.
- Strong knowledge of Fortinet products, especially firewalls.
