The purpose of the DTC & Marketing Controller role is to ensure profitable, predictable and sustainable growth across Eton’s global Direct‑to‑Consumer business, spanning eCommerce, Retail and Marketing.
The role acts as a strategic business partner, supporting senior stakeholders with financial insight, performance steering and data‑driven decision‑making to maximise sales, margin and return on invested capital across the full DTC value chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES
End‑to‑end DTC performance ownership, covering financial and commercial performance across eCommerce, Retail and Marketing, including sales, margin, costs, customer metrics and profitability.
Budgeting and forecasting across DTC, ensuring predictability, transparency and proactive actions to deliver against targets (sales, COGS, marketing spend, OPEX and CAPEX). KPI framework & performance tracking, continuously developing and refining KPIs, dashboards and performance tools to support decision‑making and follow‑up against goals and OKRs. Data quality, availability and trust, securing accurate and reliable data across financial systems and business intelligence platforms used within the DTC organisation. Business partnering & analytics enablement, serving as the go‑to person for analytical needs, automating recurring reporting and enabling teams to become more data‑driven. Business cases & decision support, delivering fact‑based analyses for stores, markets, campaigns, projects and investments, with clear recommendations and actions. Cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with other business controllers and department leaders to represent both DTC and Eton’s overall best interest.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a full-time position on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension. The role is based at Eton's Stockholm office, Riddargatan 10, and reports to the Head of Commercial Business Intelligence & Development.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field

You have 3–5 years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis or a similar analytical role, ideally within retail, eCommerce or consumer-facing businesses

You have strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance follow-up, and are comfortable owning a full P&L perspective

You are proficient in Excel and experienced with BI tools such as Power BI, with a genuine interest in building dashboards and automating reporting

You have a solid understanding of key commercial and financial KPIs across DTC channels, including eCommerce, Retail and Marketing

You communicate complex data clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders, both in Swedish and English
