About the role
We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Solution Architect & Platform Owner to lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of our Atlassian platform. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will own the architecture, health, and evolution of Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, plugins, AI capabilities, and related integrations, ensuring they support business growth, operational excellence, security, and compliance.
You will serve as both the technical authority and platform owner, working closely with IT, development teams, service management, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable and future-proof Atlassian environment.
What you will do
Solution Architecture
Design and maintain enterprise-scale solutions across Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
Maintain and define platform architecture, data structures, workflows, and governance models.
Develop and maintain integrations with platforms such as GitHub, Netsuite, Hubspot, EntraID, Microsoft 365, and other business-critical systems.
Drive automation, workflow optimisation, and process standardisation across departments.
Ensure platform scalability, performance, and alignment with organisational objectives.
Ensure a financially healthy and sustainable Atlassian environment.
Technical System Ownership
Own the overall health, availability, performance, and security of the Atlassian platform.
Manage vendor relationships, licensing, contract renewals, and cost optimisation.
Evaluate and govern Marketplace applications and third-party integrations.
Establish lifecycle management, data retention, and platform governance standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, including GDPR and corporate security policies.
Lead change management, user adoption, training initiatives, and platform communication.
Lead AI implementation, governance and data source maintenance for the Atlassian suite.
What we’re looking for
Several years of experience administering and architecting Atlassian environments.
Deep expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Atlassian implementations and transformations.
Strong understanding of IT Service Management processes and best practices.
Experience designing integrations using APIs and automation frameworks.
Solid knowledge of security, identity management, compliance, and governance principles.
Experience managing stakeholders across technical and business functions.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Able to balance business requirements with technical and financial considerations.
Proactive, structured, and passionate about driving continuous improvement.
Comfortable working both strategically and operationally
Preferred Qualifications
Atlassian certifications such as Atlassian Certified Expert, ACP, or similar.
Knowledge of DevOps toolchains and agile delivery practices.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture and AI capabilities within the Atlassian products.

This is a permanent, full-time position. The role will be based in either Stockholm, Malmo or Gothenburg.
