Internship - Industrial Business Developer

Our award-winning solution provides a quick transition into a decarbonized nitrogen fertilizer industry with a business model that makes our customer more profitable than continuing with fossil-based fertilizers.
Our plans moving forward NitroCapt is in an exciting phase. We are transitioning from pilot scale to first industrial and commercial scale for our green nitrogen fertilizer factories. We will be deploying our novel technology through local production units in tandem with our commercial partners who are interested in output.
Position Summary
During your internship, you will be the link between business development team and our technical development team. Our goal is to launch a small-scale production plant during 2027.
You will work with the following tasks:
- Support business development and investor relations dialogues by collecting and structuring relevant market and industry data
- Participate and represent the company at various industry events
- Support financial modelling and techno-economic analysis
- Support the deployment of our first production plant, including tasks related to site selection, energy supply and permitting in collaboration with R&D
- Participate in day-to-day tasks associated with working in a start-up environment.
The position is at the NitroCapt headquarter at Danmarksgatan 26 in Uppsala, Sweden. Interns are expected to work on site.
Skills/Requirements
- High level of communication skills. Experience from structuring and delivering key messages to various stakeholders.
- Having experience from technical sales and deployment of technical solutions in a B2B context is of merit.
- Energy systems will play a significant role in the technology role-out. Interest in the renewable energy market is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Ability to efficiently use programs working with written reports, visual presentations and financial models.
- Experience in building techno-economic models.
- Excellent English skills (both written and oral). Knowledge of a secondary European language is a plus.

Education/Experience
- Currently studying or recently completed education in Agronomy, Industrial Economy or other relevant fields
- Previous experience or coursework in technical sales, B2B sales, finance or similar
- Collaborative with other departments and a team player.
- Adaptable to changing work environments and fast-growing company.
