We’re looking for an organized, client-focused Associate Client Executive (ACE) to join our Nordic Marine Cargo team and support brokers, clients and internal partners across the client lifecycle.
In the role as an Associate Client Executive, you’ll work closely with the Nordic Marine Cargo brokers/placement specialist and Client Executive (CE) to deliver excellent client service, manage renewals and documentation, and drive smooth execution. This is a hands-on role with wide exposure to broking, placement, client engagement and internal teams (Placement, BCS, Sales and EBSC). You’ll be a key point of contact for clients and an enabler for your client team.
Key responsibilities
- Support the CE and Marine Cargo brokers in day-to-day client management: attend and prepare for client meetings, follow up on actions, and help deliver presentations and reports.
- Coordinate and manage the specialty line Marine Cargo renewals and insurance placement processes for clients within the Risk Management segment
- Maintain and update client records and policy documentation in the client portal and internal systems and tools; ensure all insurance documentation is controlled and delivered to clients.
- Monitor and update risk information, coverage summaries and claims/incident logs, support risk information updates and client communications.
- Work closely with our Nordic and local colleagues in operations and our hub, EBSC, in Warsaw to ensure operational excellence, as well us internal platforms (policy tracking, renewal trackers, customer portals) and follow standardized operating processes.
- Support with invoicing, ensuring premium confirmations and invoices are received, issued and processed in line with procedures.
- Help identify client needs and cross-sell opportunities; support sales activities such as onboarding and preparing contract drafts and proposals.
- Maintain high quality control of data and documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Who you are
- Some experience in insurance broking, client service, account management, or related roles (Marine Cargo experience is an advantage) is preferred but not required – our focus is on your potential
- Structured, proactive and service-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with clients, brokers and internal teams.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- confident with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn internal platforms (EBSC, client portals).
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- IDD licence is required but possible to obtain in the role
