Founded in 2015, Froda's mission is to democratize access to financing, giving small businesses the same growth opportunities as large ones. Through digital innovation, we've transformed the loan process from months to minutes, offering fair, fast, and accessible financing. Now, through embedded lending, we're integrating our technology with global banks and fintechs, building the next generation of lending infrastructure. Join us in creating opportunities for small businesses to invest in their ideas to the best possible terms.
As a Senior AML Analyst at Froda, you are the go-to for complex and higher-risk AML/CTF cases across our customer and partner portfolios. Partner due diligence is central to the role, assessing and monitoring our distribution partners across products and markets. You combine sharp analytical judgement with a genuine drive to improve how things work and are comfortable where answers are rarely straightforward. You operate with a high degree of independence, bringing structure to ambiguity and raising the bar for how Froda handles AML risk as we grow.
Perform due diligence, ongoing monitoring and quality reviews of distribution partners across our markets, ensuring partner-performed measures meet Froda's standards and regulatory obligations.
Serve as the escalation point for complex and higher-risk cases, applying experience and comfort with ambiguity to reach well-reasoned, risk-based decisions, and documenting outcomes in a way that deepens institutional knowledge across the AML team.
Run QA controls and sample checks across CDD, EDD and ODD, screening and transaction monitoring, to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and compile SAR/STR reports and supporting documentation to enable reporting to the FIU.
Support ongoing enhancement of CDD, EDD and ODD processes, refining risk control measures, review triggers and operational routines based on QA findings, BWRA updates and regulatory changes.
Provide subject-matter expertise into Transaction monitoring rule development, CRR model calibration, screening configuration and AML tooling, and contribute to the broader AML/CTF and sanctions framework and reporting.
You understand that a strong AML capability is what enables Froda to grow with confidence, and you approach the work with both regulatory grounding and a genuine sense of what good looks like as we grow. You stay grounded when handling sensitive or high-stakes cases, and you make sound decisions without losing sight of the bigger picture.
5+ years of hands-on experience in AML/CTF, financial crime prevention or compliance within a regulated financial institution or consultancy.
Solid working knowledge of CDD, EDD and risk assessments, including complex cases involving PEP/RCA, UBO structures or sanctions edge cases. Experience contributing to risk-assessment processes and QA programmes.
Demonstrated ability to engage credibly with partners, internal stakeholders and supervisory authorities, and to translate complex risk topics into plain language.
Worked with customers and/or partners across multiple European markets. A background in partner or third-party AML risk assessments in a platform, BaaS or embedded finance context is preferred.
Fluency in English required, while proficiency in a Nordic language, French, Italian, or Spanish is considered a plus.
