In this position you will have a lead solution architecture role in our custody transformation program and play a pivotal role in driving and guiding our strategic transformation from an end-to-end perspective. The custody transformation program is one of SEB’s key initiatives for developing our savings and investments offering. By modernising our custody infrastructure, we are building a modern next generation custody platform. You will work very closely with the Program Architect and act as the deputy.
You will actively lead and contribute to this ongoing large-scale digital transformation and build completely new capabilities. The purpose is to position SEB as an industry leader within the wealth and asset management area (i.e. investments and trading in stocks, funds and other financial instruments). You will collaborate extensively with technology and architecture stakeholders across the organization, as well as business and business services representatives.
The architecture team within Wealth Asset Management consists of Solution Architects led by a Domain Architect. Together we combine deep technical skills with strong business knowledge. We believe in teamwork, learning from each other, and building solutions together.
Your responsibility will be to:
Shape and hands-on drive SEB’s architecture transformation agenda for the wealth and asset management area with focus on the custody transformation program. A key to success is close collaboration with other parts of SEB regarding e.g. front-end applications, business layers, ledgers, authorization, cloud, API, AI and data management.
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to truly understand needs, anchor your ideas and shape sustainable solutions.
To be successful in this role, we believe you have:
End-to-end knowledge of wealth, savings, trading and investment services, processes and client needs from a digitalization perspective.
Broad interest in various architecture disciplines, including business, application, information, and technology.
Proven experience with APIs, modular architecture, test-driven development, and data-centric designs.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and guide both business, IT stakeholders and tech leads.
Advanced oral and written communication abilities, adept at articulating concepts, visualizing architectural roadmaps, and engaging effectively with stakeholders across Business, Business Services, and Tech.
