What we do at Detectify
We’re Detectify, and we’re not your average cybersecurity company. We’re a team obsessed with building cutting-edge tech that actually makes a difference in making the internet a safer place. We’re talking about real-life hackers who know their stuff—you’ll learn from the best and join a team that combines human ingenuity with automation to streamline asset discovery and vulnerability assessments.
What you’ll get to do
As Information Security & IT Manager, your primary responsibility is owning the information security level at Detectify. You'll ensure that our security posture aligns with ISO 27001 and any other objectives set by management — embedding information security into daily operations, keeping the company current on evolving frameworks and guidelines, and driving the strategic IT-security initiatives that enable us to meet our goals.
Around 20% of your time covers the IT administration that keeps Detectify running smoothly — provisioning devices, managing account access, and making sure every colleague has the right tools from day one. The remaining 80% is where the real depth of the role lives: shaping and maturing how we think about and practice information security across the company.
Reporting to the CFO, you'll be part of our Operations team — spanning Finance, IT, Legal and People & Culture — acting as a cross-functional bridge that simplifies complexity and sets the standard for how a security-first company operates.
Concretely, you'll be responsible for:
Maintaining and continuously improving Detectify's ISMS, keeping us aligned with ISO 27001 certification requirements
Enabling AI adoption across the company by evaluating, procuring, and governing AI tools to ensure they meet our security and compliance standards
Identity and Access Management for IT systems outside of the product environment
Evaluating IT tools and third-party vendors, and supporting their implementation and configuration
Acting as system owner for company-wide IT infrastructure — Google Workspace, Jira, Slack and beyond
Negotiating with software and hardware suppliers and owning the related processes and policies
Onboarding and offboarding colleagues from an IT perspective, including continuously improving these processes
Providing technical support and handling IT tickets across the organisation
Ensuring all employees have the right hardware, software, and physical office setup to work securely and effectively
Who you are
You're a person that has a collaborative and proactive mindset combined with technical skills.
We also think you have:
Hands on experience of driving and improving IT processes, IT support, access management and asset inventory (physical and information assets)
Experience of OS provisioning and Network knowledge
IT Security knowledge and hands on experience of SSO
ISO 27001 experience
Experience of Jira and Google workspace
As a person you are self-going and have a good eye for spotting improvements and appreciate a fast moving environment. To be successful in this role, we believe you have a solid service mindset and thrive working in an international environment. We expect you to be proficient English skills both written and verbal.
Hybrid work
This position is for the Stockholm office. We offer hybrid working, with access to our office in central Stockholm and would like to see you at the office at least 3 days per week.
So, what do you think? We are proud to foster an inclusive workplace free from discrimination. We strongly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and background will lead to a better environment for our employees and a better product. This is something we value deeply and we encourage everyone to be a part of changing the way the world thinks about security! Go hack yourself!
