At Tieto Caretech you’ll get a chance to provide patients and end users with purposeful technology and product offerings that help them in their life. If that sounds interesting, please keep on reading.
About us
Through advanced, intuitive technology, Tieto Caretech reduces administrative work, improves decision-making, and strengthens safety and quality in health and social care. With the Lifecare software portfolio we enable health and social care professionals to focus
on what matters most: people.
We are a global team of professionals working on providing products and services to different sectors from intensive care to laboratory and social care. In addition to working closely with our customers, we also have our own products that we build and develop for various fields in society. From enabling healthcare professionals to spend more valuable time with their patients to providing data for professional athletes to achieve even better results, we make all that possible. With us you can be part of advancing societies through purposeful technology and make your mark on the health and wellbeing of people.
About the role
We are expanding our Consulting team and are looking for a new colleague to join us. Depending on your experience and background, you will join us at the level that best matches your skills and expertise.
As a consultant at Tieto Caretech, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives. Our primary goal is to deliver value through collaboration, teamwork, and long-term partnerships.
The nature of our consulting business means that customer needs, technologies, and assignments vary. One day you may be working with integrations for a regional healthcare provider, and another day contributing to a product enhancement or a new customer implementation. Because of this, we are less focused on finding experience in a specific technology and more interested in finding people who are motivated by learning, solving problems, and creating value for customers.
We believe that drive, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are stronger indicators of success than experience with any particular framework or tool. Some of our best colleagues joined us with different technical backgrounds but shared a common mindset: they are eager to take on challenges, continuously develop their skills, and contribute to the success of the team and our customers.
Whether you are an experienced developer looking for your next challenge or an early-career developer with the right attitude and ambition, we would like to hear from you.
In this role, you will
-
Work closely with customers in the healthcare sector to understand their needs and deliver valuable solutions.
-
Participate in software development, integrations, and technical implementations.
-
Collaborate with customers such as Region Norrbotten, Region Skåne, Karolinska, and other healthcare organizations.
-
Work as part of cross-functional teams to solve technical and business challenges.
-
Contribute to improving existing solutions and developing new capabilities.
-
Learn and adapt to different customer environments, technologies, and ways of working.
Help drive digitalization that improves healthcare and social care services.
-
We are looking for someone who
-
Has a genuine interest in software development and technology.
-
Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a strong willingness to learn.
-
Understands software development principles and the importance of writing maintainable, high-quality code.
-
Is adaptable and comfortable working in changing environments and across different technologies.
-
Uses modern tools, including AI-assisted development, as part of their way of working.
-
Speaks and writes Swedish fluently.
It would be beneficial if you also have
-
Experience from the healthcare sector, either as a developer or from a healthcare profession such as nursing or similar.
Location
You are based in, or willing to work from, one of our offices in Luleå, Uppsala, or Malmö.
What’s in it for you?
With us you will be part of the important and meaningful work of developing healthcare for all of us. You have an important mission to make a difference that really matters. In addition, as a company we offer you professional growth, open and friendly culture, and an outstanding work-life balance! We believe that our organizational culture is an important part of enabling you to be successful. We provide a flexible hybrid work model as part of our culture and way of working.
Finally, we also believe in curiosity and learning as a lifestyle. We want to encourage you to keep up that curiosity and deepen your knowledge on topics you’re interested in. For example, we host a ‘Keep Learning Week’ twice a year, a week where everyone at Tieto has the possibility to join different training courses in a truly global setting.
Could you be our new colleague?
