Project Manager at atNorth
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Development team in Stockholm.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and critical improvement projects across atNorth's existing data center portfolio. You will manage projects from concept through handover while ensuring minimal disruption to live operations and maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and quality.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project manager who enjoys working in technically complex, operationally critical environments where planning, stakeholder management, and execution excellence are essential.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle delivery of infrastructure upgrades, capacity expansions, and modernization projects within operational data center environments.
Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management activities.
Coordinate internal stakeholders including Operations, Design, Security, Commercial, and Business Support teams.
Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure safe and successful project delivery.
Oversee installation and upgrade activities involving critical power, cooling, and supporting infrastructure systems.
Ensure project execution is carefully coordinated to minimize operational risk and service disruption.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in collaboration with stakeholders and project controls teams.
Manage project costs, forecasts, change requests, and reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, safety, and quality requirements.
Coordinate commissioning, testing, and handover activities with Operations teams.
Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across project delivery activities.
Your profile:
Proven experience managing complex technical projects in operational environments.
Experience from data centers, critical facilities, industrial plants, utilities, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or similar mission-critical environments.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Experience managing contractors, procurement activities, budgets, and project schedules.
Ability to balance project delivery requirements with operational constraints and business priorities.
Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
Experience within the data center industry is beneficial but not required.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is considered an advantage.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Based in or willing to work from Stockholm.
