About you and this role
Run plant engineer Serves as a key technical resource to Operations by applying engineering and analytical expertise to optimize plant performance, resolve operational challenges, and ensure the safe and efficient production of high-quality, cost-effective products. Demonstrates a fundamental understanding of relevant theories, practices, and procedures within the discipline. Handles routine assignments and solves standard problems using established processes, while applying general business knowledge developed through education and prior experience.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with operations teams to provide technical support, solve problems, and improve plant performance.

Apply plant knowledge, historical data, and SME inputs to optimize processes and ensure effective use of technology (MET).

Lead and support advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Monitor plant performance through KPIs, logbooks, and alarm systems to drive continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with operating procedures, safety standards, and regulatory permits while maintaining strong field presence.

Act as a technical expert during unplanned events, supporting operational efficiency, reliability, and raw material optimization.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering ,Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science / Metallurgical Engineering

Strong foundational knowledge of engineering principles, plant operations, and process optimization.

Exposure to manufacturing or process industry environments is preferred.
Your Skills

Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of plant operations, process engineering, and industrial technologies.

Ability to interpret operational data, trends, and performance metrics (KPIs).

Knowledge of Most Effective Technology (MET) principles and process optimization techniques.

Capability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. 6 Sigma certification preferred

Effective collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including working with SMEs and cross-functional teams.

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Ability to work in a complex & multicultural diverse environment
