Do you have a background in laboratory chemistry and a passion for project work? Are you looking for a role where you can use both to help laboratories succeed with complex digital solutions? If you enjoy being the person who creates clarity, drives projects forward and builds lasting customer relationships, this might be the role for you.
Software Point is part of the international LabVantage group, whose LabVantage LIMS solution serves over 1,600 customers globally. Software Point is the leading provider of laboratory information systems in Northern Europe. We have delivered innovative LIMS and biobank solutions to over 500 laboratories across pharmaceutical and life sciences research, environmental testing, healthcare and many other fields in the public and private sectors. We employ around 110 specialists in Finland, Sweden and Norway, and approximately 1,200 people across the group globally.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager and Customer Lead to join our team in Sweden. In this role, you will drive successful LIS implementations, build long-term customer relationships, and bring your laboratory expertise directly into solutions that serve customers every day.
As Project Manager and Customer Lead, you will act as the key link between the customer, the project team, support, and other internal functions. You will own LIS implementation projects from initiation through to completion and stable service delivery, while developing customer relationships over the long term and bringing a laboratory chemist's perspective into every project.
If you thrive at the intersection of people and processes, take clear ownership of projects and build trust naturally with both customers and internal teams, this role might be for you. It puts you at the heart of healthcare and life sciences environments, where accurate and reliable laboratory systems have a direct impact on patient care and research outcomes. Here, your expertise genuinely matters.
Leading and coordinating LIS implementation projects from start to finish, including handover to support and service management
Preparing and maintaining project plans, timelines, resource planning and risk follow-up
Acting as the primary point of contact for customers in project and account-related matters
Contributing deep laboratory and chemistry expertise to LIS-related projects
Coordinating internal resources across system specialists, architects, developers and sales
Continuously improving working methods, customer handovers and delivery processes
This role is a great match if you have a strong background as a laboratory chemist or equivalent, combined with experience working on LIS projects. We value the ability to create clarity in complex projects, communicate confidently with different stakeholders, and drive things forward independently.
A strong background as a laboratory chemist or equivalent, with hands-on experience from chemical laboratories
At least 5 years of experience in a leading, coordinating or subject matter expert role within laboratory operations
Experience from LIS implementation projects, e.g. requirements gathering, testing, validation, training or change management
Experience in project management or customer process coordination, preferably in a complex or regulated environment
Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written; English proficiency is also an important part of the role
Software Point offers a customer-facing and varied role with significant responsibility in a Nordic and international environment. You will have the opportunity to combine your laboratory expertise with project management, customer relationship development and business development in a stable and professional setting.
Competitive compensation
Flexible hybrid work model with the option to work from any of our offices in Sweden
A meaningful role at the forefront of digitalisation in healthcare, a sector of great social significance
Real impact on LIS implementation success in complex and regulated environments
Opportunities to grow in both project management and customer development
An international working environment with customers and colleagues across the Nordic region
Support from experienced colleagues across the Nordics and the wider international group
