About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and Databricks to join a data-driven organization undergoing continued growth and transformation. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern cloud-based data platforms, enabling scalable analytics and business intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and large-scale data processing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions that support strategic business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions using Azure and Databricks.
Develop and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
Create and maintain semantic models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
Implement and manage ETL/ELT workflows following industry best practices.
Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across the data platform.
Work with large and complex datasets, optimizing solutions for high-volume data environments.
Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD implementation and automation for data engineering
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modeling.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts.
Familiarity with:
Power BI
Azure DevOps
Azure Storage Explorer
Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
