- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
- Ability to communicate in English and Finnish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
- Experience with power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, data center technology, industrial-class electrical and cooling technology, or other related technical areas.
- Experience managing utility agreements and energy-related issues.
- Experience in financial modeling and implementing clean energy initiatives.
- Experience in indirect taxes, economic development policy, infrastructure development, agreement drafting, and presentation development.
- Experience with data center real estate markets.
- Ability to comfortably work in ambiguous, collaborative, and changing environments.

You'll work with project teams to support transactions, energy portfolio planning, and vendor and partner relationship management. Your ability to develop and communicate recommendations based on this analysis, has the potential to save Google millions of dollars in operating costs, drive innovation in the energy industry and impact every part of the business.

- Discuss all types of agreements with all types of vendors within a domain. Lead the development of agreements with vendors, landowners, and key suppliers for space and utility services.
- Lead transaction discussion and structuring for energy supply, power infrastructure, and other data center energy contracts, including supply agreements, interconnection agreements, power purchases agreements, partnerships, etc.
- Implement commercial strategies for new power generation resources (either on, near, or offsite), transmission system expansion, and other novel approaches of capacity delivery for new large loads.
- Help set strategy for Google's energy procurement program, including renewable and carbon-free energy procurement in support of Google's clean energy goals.
- Support site specific energy supply growth efforts and datacenter interconnection strategy and execution in partnership with local utilities and transmission system operators (TSOs).
