Your opportunity
You will play a key role in strengthening Boliden’s cyber security by leading detection, response, and organisational readiness across IT and OT. As the operational authority, you will drive incident response, SOC services, and clear, business-aligned communication—ensuring alignment between security operations, business priorities, and production needs.
You will ensure that cyber threats targeting production-critical systems are handled rapidly and in a structured way, translating complex cyber risks into actionable decisions that minimise impact and strengthen resilience in a complex industrial environment.
Who you will work with
You will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and be part of Boliden’s Group-wide security function, working at the heart of our business. You will collaborate closely with SOC teams, IT, OT, engineering, and business leadership—playing a key role in protecting our operations, people, and sustainable future.
The position is preferably based in Boliden but can also be located at any of our operational sites. Regular travel to sites will be required, along with occasional visits to other Boliden locations. Remote work may be considered.

SOC Service & Continuous Improvement

Own the SOC service, including vendor management and performance

Drive improvements, KPIs, and post-incident reviews

Lead initiatives that strengthen detection, response, and resilience

Drive awareness, training, and a strong security culture

Ensure alignment with policies and regulatory requirements
What you bring

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across IT, OT, and business functions

Proven ability to lead and stay effective under pressure during major incidents

Ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear, actionable business impact

Experience driving awareness, training, and organisation-wide behavioural change
-
Experience in project management, with the ability to lead initiatives from concept to delivery

Structured, decisive, and outcome-driven with strong analytical skills

Experience managing services, vendors, and delivering security initiatives

Broad understanding of cyber threats, detection, and response
-
Influential and consultative approach, able to drive results without formal authority

Continuous improvement mindset focused on measurable risk reduction and resilience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience

Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Finnish, Norwegian, or Portuguese is considered an advantage

A valid EU Category B driving licence, as the role involves regular travel to our sites
