At the Division of Systems and Control, we develop both theory and concrete tools to design systems that learn, reason, and act in the real world based on a seamless combination of data, mathematical models, and algorithms. Our research integrates expertise from machine learning, optimization, control theory, and applied mathematics, spanning diverse application domains such as medicine, energy systems, biomedical systems, neuroscience, and safety and security.
We have a wide network of long-standing international collaborators all around the world, for example at the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Imperial College London, University of Sydney, University of Newcastle and Aalto University.
Duties
Create a concrete understanding of the nuances of user needs in a clinical situation related to ECG readings. Assemble industrial prototypes and verify them. Involves evaluating and adapting (training) AI models based on deep learning. Develop the technical side of the prototype and transform the research code into an industrial prototype, i.e. a well-maintained software package. New development of methods linked to AI analysis of ECG data. Write scientific articles and technical documentation.
