We are now looking for an experienced IT-Project Manager to join our internal Nordic IT organization. As IT Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of Nordic IT projects – from initiation to closure – working closely with colleagues across the Nordic organization. This is a hands-on role where you combine structured project management with real accountability for scope, schedule, budget and value delivery.
The role is Nordic in scope, with English as the primary working language. You will report to the Head of Portfolio & Projects and work in a matrix organization without direct staff responsibility, but with significant leadership impact.
The gross monthly salary for this position ranges from 40,000 to 50,000 SEK.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of assigned Nordic IT projects and lead them day-to-day. Develop and maintain structured project plans, define milestones and deliverables, follow up on progress and coordinate cross-country and cross-functional teams to ensure integrated execution.
- Collaborate with Project Owner and SteerCo
Work closely with the Project Owner and Steering Committee to align scope, priorities and decisions. Prepare clear status updates and decision material for the IT Portfolio Management Board and other governance forums, ensuring your projects follow our Nordic IT governance framework and ways of working.
- Manage risks and dependencies
Proactively identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues. Understand and manage dependencies across projects and service domains, help avoid bottlenecks and drive structured issue resolution together with relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors
Engage IT teams, business stakeholders and external vendors to secure alignment on objectives, scope and expectations. Build strong relationships and maintain open, transparent and to-the-point communication on progress, risks and impacts.
- Follow up on value and progress
Define and communicate expected project benefits together with the Project Owner and portfolio team. Track progress against scope, time, cost and quality, support benefit tracking and contribute to post-implementation reviews to ensure that the project delivers real, measurable value.
- Manage resources and budget
Plan and manage project resources and budget within approved limits. Provide accurate forecasts and status reporting, and work with the IT Business Controller and other stakeholders to track costs, validate funding and adjust plans when needed.
