About the role:
We are looking for a Junior Technical Project Manager to join our team and contribute to delivering advanced, high-performance electronics and sensors to customers within the space segment. The position is based at our office in Gothenburg.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within project management in the space industry, with a focus on New Space. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-moving environment, working on exciting projects with ambitious timelines. You bring a technical background and some experience in project management or a similar role.
In this position, you will mainly support the lead project manager in larger projects, while also having the opportunity to take ownership of smaller projects of your own.
- Support project management across multiple projects with varying activities, timelines, and resource needs
- Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors
- Lead smaller projects independently
- Work closely with colleagues to develop project plans
- Organize and maintain project information, track progress, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to address challenges and find practical solutions
- Help prepare scheduled analyses and deliverables
- Contribute to reports, presentations, procedures, proposals, and other documentation
- Support the development and improvement of internal processes and documentation
- Assist with project close-out activities as needed
- A relevant technical background – ideally in microwave engineering or electronics
- Experience working with international subcontractors is a plus
- Previous experience in project coordination and/or administration
- Interest in project support, planning, and scheduling
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and professional reports
- A collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented, mindset
- Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- Experience working in the space industry or other high-tech sectors
- Knowledge of different project lifecycle methodologies (e.g. waterfall, agile)
- Passion for continuous improvement and process development
