Job Description
Tink is Visa’s open banking platform, enabling financial institutions, fintechs, and merchants to build financial products and services, move money, and access aggregated financial data through a single API. It provides capabilities including account information, payment initiation, risk insights, account verification, and data enrichment, and supports clients across Europe through broad bank connectivity and a scalable platform.
As Tink continues to develop its open banking capabilities and attract new clients, this Accountant role plays an important part in ensuring that revenue is accounted for accurately and that payments from clients are received in a timely manner.
This role sits within young and ambitious Tink Finance team and works closely with Finance, Legal, and Account Management teams to support smooth revenue recognition, while maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities with high‑quality and well‑documented journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications

A relevant degree within Business Administration & Economics OR a Higher Vocational Education Diploma

Previous proven accounting experience is essential

Excellent analytical skills with an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Netsuite or Oracle Accuracy is a plus.

A high level of attention to detail is key

Willingness to engage in a broad range of activities necessary to support the cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Fluent in English (our business language) is a must
- Written and verbal Swedish is desired but not essential
