In this role, you will be part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD), which develops, manufactures, and markets diagnostic tests for allergy, asthma, and autoimmune diseases. With approximately 1,900 employees worldwide, IDD is the global leader in in vitro allergy diagnostics and a leading provider of autoimmune diagnostics in Europe. Our Uppsala site, home to more than 750 employees, serves as the division's global headquarters and includes both research and development and manufacturing operations.
How will you make an impact?
As a Customer Order Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and reliable order management processes that support our customers around the world. You will contribute to the smooth flow of products and services by coordinating orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Your work will directly support our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
What will you do?

Coordinate and manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment and delivery

Process orders accurately and maintain related documentation and records

Support logistics operations for clinical trials, pharmaceutical products, and scientific equipment

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company procedures

Monitor inventory levels and support supply chain continuity

Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Quality functions

Communicate with external partners, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Identify and resolve order- and shipment-related issues in a proactive manner

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence activities

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

A Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent work experience

Experience in order management, logistics, warehousing, supply chain operations, or customer service is considered an advantage

Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and international trade regulations

Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QAD, as well as strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are beneficial

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and excellent attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
Experience with GMP, GDP, clinical trial regulations, temperature-controlled logistics, dangerous goods transportation, quality management systems, or process improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.
