This is what you’ll be doing
As a Category Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for various categories such as Earth Moving . You’ll manage supplier relationships, conduct negotiations and ensure the optimal delivery of goods and services. You’ll work closely with stakeholders within the organisation and make a significant contribution to achieving cost savings and quality. All this within Boels’ international markets!
Your responsibilities include:

Developing category procurement strategies that meet customer needs and optimise costs;

Timely procurement and delivery of new products based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO);

Managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations;

Collaborating and coordinating with internal stakeholders at various levels;

Analyzing markets and data to support strategic procurement decisions.

What do you bring to the role?
- A completed higher professional education (Bachelor’s) degree, preferably in business economics or business administration;
- At least 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar procurement role within an international environment;
- A good command of English;
- Analytical skills, commercial acumen and negotiation skills;
- Willingness to spend 20% of your working time travelling internationally.
