We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support ongoing projects in liver metabolism, diabetes, and hypoxia signaling using cell culture, animal tissues, and human samples. The employment is a temporary employment for 4 months, June - September.
The Research Assistant will assist with experiments including:
Cell Culture & Molecular Biology

Maintenance of cells and spheroid cultures
-
RNA extraction and qPCR analysis
-
Western blotting
-
Plasmid preparation and transfection
-
Cell viability assays
-
ELISA and other biochemistry assays
-
Blood and urine sample processing
Immunohistochemistry
-
Tissue sectioning (FFPE sections and cryosections)
-
Immunhistochemical staining
-
Confocal microscopy and image analysis
We are looking for a candidate with:
-
Master’s degree (or higher) in Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields

Hands-on experience with the techniques listed above

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills

Highly motivated and detail-oriented

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
