Key Responsibilities:
Digital & Web Management: Keep our restaurant website, digital menus, and third-party delivery profiles (e.g., Foodora, Wolt) updated with accurate hours, pricing, and seasonal menu items.
Local SEO & Review Platforms: Optimize our presence on Google Business, Mestiza on TripAdvisor, and local directories to ensure high visibility for people searching for restaurants in Gothenburg.
Social Media Management: Shoot, edit, and schedule daily organic content (Instagram Reels, TikToks, Photos) highlighting our dishes, drinks, and lively atmosphere. Engage daily with our Mestiza Instagram community.
Event & Campaign Promotion: Plan and execute marketing campaigns for special events, patio openings, holiday menus, or wine tastings.
Local Collaborations: Assist in identifying and reaching out to local food bloggers, influencers, and neighborhood business partners for promotional tie-ins.
Graphic & Print Materials: Help design clean, basic marketing materials like digital flyers, seasonal drink menus, or event posters using tools like Canva.
What We Are Looking For:
Current student or recent graduate in General Marketing, Business, Communications, or Hospitality Management.
A well-rounded understanding of marketing principles (both online and offline) and how they drive restaurant foot traffic.
Comfortable with creative tasks (basic video/photo editing) as well as operational tasks (updating websites, tracking guest reviews).
Proactive, organized self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is a strong asset.
