YOUR ROLE
As an NTI Cordset Project Lead, you will take full responsibility for mechanical design activities within the Cordset area. You will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity, quality, and efficiency, acting as the central interface between NTI and the PE Cordset Team. You will enable seamless collaboration across locations, time zones, and organizational units, supporting hardware and product engineering projects from concept through execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary interface between NTI and the PE Cordset Team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Lead and coordinate mechanical design activities within the Cordset scope, ensuring alignment with project objectives and engineering standards.

Apply expertise in composite materials to support the selection, evaluation, and qualification of materials for hardware and product engineering projects.

Participate in the selection and procurement of components, considering performance, reliability, cost, and regulatory compliance.

Conduct research and analysis to identify suitable components and suppliers, maintaining awareness of market trends and technological advancements.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and environmental and safety regulations related to materials and components.

Perform reliability analysis of materials and components, assessing durability, lifespan, and performance under different operating conditions.

Identify potential failure modes and define mitigation strategies to improve system reliability and robustness.

Manage and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), ensuring completeness, traceability, and compliance with design and regulatory requirements.

Support cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.

Proven experience in mechanical design, hardware development, or system engineering, preferably within Cordset or similar product domains.

Strong knowledge of composite materials, component selection, and materials qualification processes.

Experience managing BOMs and working with engineering documentation and change processes.

Understanding of regulatory and industry standards related to materials, safety, and environmental compliance.

Ability to perform reliability and failure‑mode analysis for hardware systems.

Experience working in cross‑functional and international environment.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Fluent English (spoken and written) required.
