How will you make an impact?
The Procurement Manager Indirect is responsible for deploying and executing sourcing strategies across indirect spend supporting the ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD).
This role partners closely with Operations, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams to deliver value through productivity, spend optimization, supply assurance, and innovation. The position ensures alignment between global category strategies and divisional priorities, while addressing the specific requirements of a regulated diagnostics environment.
Operating within a lean procurement setup, this role requires strong prioritization, stakeholder enablement, and the ability to deliver results across a broad and diverse indirect spend landscape.
Scope of Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of indirect procurement strategies aligned with global category strategies and divisional priorities

Deliver key performance indicators, including cost savings, cost avoidance, quality, service, compliance, and risk mitigation

Drive delivery of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments, including productivity and cost improvement initiatives

Operate across a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories (e.g. Professional Services, FM, MRO, CapEx, Logistics, R&D) based on business priorities

Drive value through procurement leadership, including leading and supporting initiatives executed in collaboration with business functions

Ensure adoption and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and category strategies, providing guidance to drive consistent practices, compliance, and value delivery across decentralized sourcing, including high-level support of indirect procurement systems

Category Strategy Execution and Leadership Responsibilities

Execute sourcing strategies and lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier negotiations and contract management

Identify and prioritize opportunities for cost, productivity, and demand optimization

Manage and develop the supplier base to ensure performance, continuous improvement, and risk mitigation

Partner with IDD stakeholders to support operations, NPI, and product lifecycle activities through value-focused procurement

Leverage data, market insights, and standard processes to drive decision-making and operational excellence

Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact results across sites and functions
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

7+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in a multinational environment

Experience in indirect procurement and category management

Strong background in business partnering and stakeholder management and experience from working with global cross-functional teams

Experience in regulated industries (diagnostics, medical device, pharma, life sciences) preferred

Experience in an international organization, working closely with manufacturing operations preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop professional presentations and present effectively to senior leadership

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills and ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to influence without authority and drive alignment

Knowledge of supplier risk, quality, and compliance frameworks
