GLOBAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Flexible Location | International Role
This is a key position within IPCO’s Global Service organization. The role plays a vital part in developing our global service capabilities, methods, and standards in close collaboration with local service teams worldwide.
As a Global Service Technician, you will combine advanced hands-on technical work with a broader responsibility for strengthening our global service structure. You will work closely with regional teams, production, and technical support functions to ensure consistent service delivery, competence development, and operational excellence across markets.
This role requires extensive international travel and a strong commitment to collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
Perform installations, commissioning, inspections, and advanced troubleshooting at customer sites globally
Execute precision mechanical work and TIG welding on industrial equipment
Act as a technical ambassador for lPCO Service across regions
Support and develop local service teams by sharing best practices and standardized working methods
Contribute to developing service processes, documentation, and global standards
Drive continuous improvement within safety, quality, and efficiency
Provide structured reporting and feedback to strengthen long-term service performance
Identify business opportunities during service visits and support aftermarket growth

Technical education within mechanical, industrial, or a related field.
Solid experience in field service, installation, or advanced maintenance
Experience from international assignments is highly valued
Experience working with industrial mechanical equipment
Proven experience in TIG welding (GTAW) is required
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting capability
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working with precision components and industrial systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Structured documentation and reporting capability
Strong communication skills
Commercial awareness and business understanding
Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required
Additional languages are considered a strong advantage
Start Date: As soon as possible, according to agreement
Location: Flexible – the candidate does not need to be based in Sweden
Travel: Extensive international travel is required (significant number of travel days per year)
