FMCG Sales Representative – South Sweden

Our client is an international company operating within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Known for strong brands and a customer-focused approach, the company combines commercial drive with long-term relationship building. Due to continued growth in the Swedish market, they are now strengthening their sales team in the southern region of Sweden.

Area of responsibility: Gothenburg & southern Sweden
The role involves regular travel within the region.
TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES
As an FMCG Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening market presence. Your main responsibilities include:
Developing and executing effective sales strategies within the assigned territory
Promoting and selling the company’s FMCG (food and retail) product range to existing and prospective clients
Building, maintaining and developing strong, long-term customer relationships
Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximise revenue and profitability
Providing regular sales reports, forecasts and market insights to management
Identifying new business opportunities, emerging markets and shifts in customer needs
Acting as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows and promotional activities
Ensuring all sales activities are conducted in line with company ethics and business conduct guidelines
PROFILE
To succeed in this role, you are a driven and commercially minded sales professional with the following background and skills:
Proven experience as a Sales Representative within the FMCG industry (food and retail experience highly preferred)
Strong negotiation skills and a consultative sales approach
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team
Highly motivated, target-driven and solution-oriented, with a strong sales track record
Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability
Languages: Swedish, Arabic and English
SALARY / RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The position offers a competitive salary package in line with Swedish market standards, including performance-related incentives and benefits. Think around 40,000 SEK/month, depending on experience, plus performance-based incentives in line with industry standards.

[email protected]), followed by one to two digital interviews with the client’s hiring team and hiring manager. A visit to their HQ in the Netherlands could be a part of the process.
