We are hiring Platform Engineer for Sweden.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, operating, and enhancing enterprise messaging platforms with a focus on Apache Kafka, Strimzi, HiveMQ, and Kubernetes. You will help build scalable, secure, and highly available integration platforms while enabling development teams through automation and self-service capabilities.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Strimzi, Kafka Connect API, Kraft.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Knowledge of Splunk, Fluent Bit, and Helm
- Experience with Linux (including Windows Subsystem for Linux – WSL).
- Experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD for CI/CD and GitOps deployments.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, including Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and Fluent Bit or OpenTelemetry.
- Knowledge managing Apache Kafka at the platform level, including cluster administration, performance tuning, scalability, and security.
- Experience administering and maintaining HiveMQ messaging brokers in enterprise environments.
